Whats it gonna take?

so i didn't really think this through, which is fine because i have months to get it together. the first thing i was thinking was who we had to make sure we saw and where they lived and what states to travel through. for some reason sleeping arrangements somehow it escaped me. i had a dream about the trek few years ago, we were in red bench seated truck driving across the desert. the windows were down, i was pregnant in a flowered sun dress and there was no dog.





 i figured we would just take the blue 4 runner and Bluebelle since that is what we have. but then that would mean spending the night in a hotel? 31 nights times at least $50? No. i don't even know what that is but haaaaall no. we still have to pay rent on the apartment that month!




ok so rent an RV? buy a trailer? hmmm more research. we have a tent and fold down seats...but we would have to figure out a set up good enough not to get camping back. maybe a queen size foam pillow top. we swore we would never have the dog in a tent ever again. she takes the covers, digs, tries to walk on the walls, and steps all over us. but i've sworn all kinds of things. i also want to find a program that lets me draw on saved images so i can mark on maps.
